English: Large parts of the content in this category comes from historical documents as service regulations ("Dienstvorschrift", "H.Dv.", "L.Dv", "M.Dv." etc.) or maps of the German Armed Forces (Wehrmacht) and its offices. Since these documents are considered official works, the content is in the public domain. Nevertheless, there may be restrictions on use due to other legal provisions (prohibited symbols of the Nazi era). Deutsch: Von der Wehrmacht und deren Organisationen, wie beispielsweise dem Oberkommando der Wehrmacht, dem Heereswaffenamt, der Luftwaffe etc., wurden zahlreiche Dokumente, organisatorische oder technische Beschreibungen, Karten und Luftbildaufnahmen sowie entsprechenden Weiterbearbeitungen angefertigt und veröffentlicht. Ein großer Teil dieser Medien wurde archiviert und steht über die nationale deutsche Institution Institution:Bundesarchiv mit freier Lizenz zur Verfügung und wurde innerhalb von Wikimedia Commons im Bereich von Kategorie:Bundesarchiv zugeordnet. Gelegentlich finden sich auch andere Archive oder Sammlungen bei denen Inhalte mit Urheberschaft der Wehrmacht erhalten geblieben sind. Dazu sind insbesondere us-amerkanische sowie russiche oder die Archive anderer Siegermächte bekannt. Nicht bei allen Quellen werden die Rechte zur Urheberschaft korrekt angegeben, teilweise kommt es dabei zur Schutzrechtsberühmung (Copyfraud), wenn die Urheberschaft der Wehrmacht und ihrer Rechtsnachfolger eindeutig erkennbar und nicht entsprechend angegeben ist.
