- English: Daniel Drew (1797–1879) was a railroad financier and director of the Erie Railroad. He gained notoriety during the Erie War of the late 1860s, where he attempted to manipulate the railroad's stock price. He left an endowment to create Drew Theological Seminary, which later became Drew University.
