English: The building of the Dáil chamber was originally a lecture theatre, built in 1893. The chamber belongs to the Leinster House complex and attached to it on its southern side. In 1922, the building was used as Dáil chamber for the first time. (See Christine Casey, The Buildings of Ireland: Dublin, p. 502.)
