During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and related lockdown, a "snake" made from decorated rocks was arranged in Bexley Woods, London Borough of Bexley. Encouraged via social media (especially the "Bexley Painted Rocks" Facebook group), it followed on from a similar (and much larger) creation at Bursted Wood in Barnehurst, London Borough of Bexley. Initially the snake appeared at the fairy tree on the southern side of the wood but a second, larger version was later created in the northwest part of the wood, near the River Shuttle.
