The Covered Bridge in Quechee, Vermont is in the same location as other bridges that have spanned the Ottauquechee River beginning in 1769. The present bridge replaces a previous covered bridge (1885) that was severely damaged in a flood in 1927. The concrete and steel deck portions were completed in 1933. The wooden covering was added in 1969. It was dedicated on May 21, 1970.
