English: There have been six bridges in Cleveland over the Cuyahoga River at Columbus Road since the first structure was built in 1835. The fifth span is a lift bridge built by the Works Progress Administration in 1940. The lift span was replaced in 2013, but the lift towers were not replaced, and the bridge was repainted green at that time.
