Built 1876 (launched 11/1875) by Atkinson & Fillmore, Newburyport, MA as BROWN BROTHERS for Brown Bros, Boston MA - 1420 tons, 208.6 x 40.4 x 24.0 feet (tonnage/dimensions varied a little over time). Sold 1876 to Bridge, Lord & Co, Boston. Sold 1886 to Wilhelm Stisser & Co, Bremen and renamed COLUMBUS. About 1905 sold to Gebrüder Kulenkampf, Bremen. 20 Dec 1912 sailed New York for Bristol with petroleum (presumably cased) and went missing. See here
