English: The Columbia and Puget Sound Railroad (1880-1916) was the successor to the Seattle and Walla Walla Railroad (1878-1880), after it was purchased by Henry Villard's Oregon Improvement Company. It was then reorganized as the Pacific Coast Railroad (which had been established in 1897 as a shell company). That eventually became part of the Great Northern.
