English: Chocolate (sometimes in US English “champagne”) mackerel tabby cats have a warm chocolate brown coloured mackerel tabby pattern in their coats. The paw pads and nose leather are cinnamon-pink to chocolate brown colour. Lilac tabby is the diluted (lighter) version of chocolate tabby. Chocolate and lilac are considered rare cat colours, and are more likely to appear in pedigree or purebred cats that have been specifically bred for their colouration.
