The Center for Fundamental Rights was founded by young lawyers and law students in the middle of 2013 in Budapest, Hungary. The purpose of the activities of the Center is to prepare assessments and research papers on a professional level regarding the functioning of rule of law and the protection of fundamental rights in Hungary. The Center is committed to the values of rule of law, tradition, and the value of liberty. This institution investigates from time to time the topical issues and relevant cases related to constitutional law and publishes comprehensive analyses in these contexts. Primarily, the Center aims to provide in-depth research papers for the public on constitutional law and policy issues. Our core activity focuses on constitutional issues related to fundamental rights, rule of law, electoral law and media law.
