The Minoan sacred cave where the ancient Cretans sacrificed to the goddess, among other things, in beautiful Middle Minoan potery ("Kamares ware", with bright patterns and large flowers), thin ceramics, beautifully painted, 2100/1800-1700/1550 BC, mostly 18th century BC.

Cave without stalactites, yet it is very impressive. His name is after the village of Kamares, but is over 1140 m above, about 1710 m above sea level.
