English: William Blomfield (1866–1938) was a New Zealand cartoonist and politician. He created cartoons for a number of publications including most notably the Auckland-based Observer and its successors the New Zealand Observer and Free Lance then New Zealand Observer. He was also involved with the Christchurch-based Spectator and Wellington-based New Zealand Free Lance. He signed his cartoons "Blo".[1]
