English: Accepted eumelanin shades are black and blue ("gray"), pheomelanin shades from red to a creamy yellow, and patterns clear (masked) fawn, masked brindle, and solid black/blue. Small white markings are accepted but undesired.
Unaccepted are:
- any coat with liver or lilac eumelanin
- any coat with creamy white pheomelanin (frumentino)
- any coat with the black-and-tan pattern
- large white markings
- blue or partially blue eyes
- "bird of prey yellow" eyes (AKC).
