The Bunker at the Peenewiesen were located near Test Stands XI, XII and XIII and used to store the A4/V2-rockets before flight. Roughly every 30th rocket produced at Dora was launched for quality assurance. Some of these rockets were brought to Peenemünde. After the war the facilities were blasted, only debris remained. As of 2014 plans are progressing to flood the whole area, and thereby destroying the historical landmark once and for all.
