English: This was one of the first British Rail Class 08 shunting locomotives. It was placed in service at Tyseley, the Western Region shed in Birmingham, in October 1953. At the time it carried number 13029 but was renumbered D3029 in December 1957. It was renumbered into the TOPS series as as 08021 in April 1974 while based at Toton. It was withdrawn in April 1986 and returned to Tyseley the following year for preservation.
