English: Former consumer co-operative in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, England. Brighouse District Industrial Society. Founded in 1856 as Brighouse Flour & Industrial Society, around 1852 the society renamed as Brighouse District Industrial Society, and finally, in 1950s was renamed as Brighouse Co-operative Society. In 1978 the society merged with Bradford Co-operative Society to form West Yorkshire Co-operative Society.
