A section of Botley Cemetery, Oxford, designed by Edward Maufe and reserved for burials of casualties of the First and Second World Wars. It contains 156 British and Commonwealth casualties from the First World War, and 516 from the Second. It also contains around 70 military casualties of other nationalities, including a significant number of German casualties and the only Greek military burial in the United Kingdom. Unusually for a cemetery of its size it contains a Stone of Remembrance, one of only 12 in the UK and an honour normally reserved for cemeteries containing over 1000 military burials.
