English: The Blethen Chimes or Chimes Tower stood on the University of Washington campus in Seattle beginning with its creation as a water tower for new campus in the mid-1890s. The chimes were donated in 1912 and installed in 1914, at which time the tower was redone in Gothic Revival style. The tower burned May 24, 1949.
