The beyerdynamic DT 100 headphones have been part of the beyerdynamic range since the late 1970's, and are used mostly for professional monitoring settings (radio studios, boom operators, recording studios). Available in 2 colours: the default/classic "cream" earshells, as with "black" earshells.

A more recent counterpart, the beyerdynamic DT 150 headphones differs in 2 areas: its speaker drivers have a slightly more extended range (at the bass end, as well at the treble end), and the earshells have a very dark gray colour. The DT 100 speakers are more tuned towards voice & word usage.
