Deutsch: Die 1846 angelegte Straße wurde laut dem Adressbuch Hannover von 1952 „nach einer Lindener Familie“ benannt, laut dem von 1970 „nach einer Ricklinger Familie, die hier Grundbesitz besaß“. Richtig ist wohl die Benennung nach dem Kornhändler Johann Heinrich Julius Behnsen, der 1845 die Bebauung seines Grundbesitzes beantragte.
