English: The collection consists of over 20 linear feet of photographs, audio cassettes, audio reels, video reels, VHS and videocassette tapes, periodicals, books, maps, posters, artifacts, oral history transcripts, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, official military records and reports, bibliographies, PSYOP guides, pamphlets, booklets, congressional hearings and committee reports, correspondence and handwritten NYU notebooks documenting the life of Barry Zorthian, his service as Director of JUSPAO during the Vietnam conflict from 1964-1968, his service as the Program Director for Voice of America, and his life after the war. Materials date from the 1940's through 2000's and relate to US Psychological Operations during the Vietnam Conflict, press relations with the military during and after the conflict, press relations during Operation Desert Storm and the War on Terror in Iraq, and Armenian history.
