Although Rauch & Lang had manufactured automobile bodies since the early 1910s, the Raulang Body Division of the Baker Rauch & Lang took place during a major reorganization and refinancing in 1919. At the same time, the material handling division was installed. This remained the main business of the Company. "Baker-Raulang" was a name unofficially used since the 1920s.
