English: Stallions kept together on shared paddock or pasture. Alternatively, groups of feral horse stallions that have not managed to capture their own herd of mares. Stallions can coexist peacefully in absence of mares in heat, although some individuals are aggressive towards other stallions and even geldings regardless of the situation. Shared pastures for young stallions are considered especially benefical for their psychological growth. Introducing new individuals to a pre-existing group, and especially bringing a number of previously unmeeted stallions together to form a new group, results in displays and fights to resolve the hierarchy.
