Automobiles Eugène Brillié was formed after the French engineer Eugène Brillié left Société Gobron-Brillié which he has co-founded in 1898. His old company changed the brand name immediately from Gobron-Brillié to Gobron, which never stuck in public. Eugène Brillié motor vehicles, cars and trucks, were labeled Brillié and Brillié-Schneider; manufacturing was done by Schneider & Cie in their Le Havre plant.
