At the level of the second bay of the northern collateral, the altar of Saint John the Baptist ; composite set consisting of an early Christian sarcophagus from the Alyscamps and having previously served as a baptismal font, a marble tabernacle of unknown origin and two ancient basalt columns with Corinthian capital supporting an added pediment, all forming an altarpiece ornated by a grisaille depicting the Baptism of Christ. Spotted C:16 on the plan.
