Deutsch: Der Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) ist eine politisch und konfessionell unabhängige Hilfs- und Wohlfahrtsorganisation, die historisch auf Initiativen von Arbeitern und Handwerkern zur Selbsthilfe im Bereich der Notfallrettung und der Ausbildung in Erster Hilfe zurückgeht. Die Leistungen des Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund werden sowohl in Deutschland als auch in Österreich von freiwilligen Helfern, hauptberuflich beschäftigten Mitarbeitern, Mitarbeitern im FSJ und von Zivildienstleistenden erbracht.
