Alexander the Great was sometimes portrayed as the god Helios; that is, as Alexander-Helios—not to be confused with the Alexander Helios who was the son of Cleopatra and Mark Antony. Busts of this type may be missing the "sunbeam" crown, but have holes for inserting it separately.
