English: In Romanesque and gothic churches the axis of the nave axis is often slightly different from the axis of the choir because their orientation was determined on two different days. Often the "earthly axis" of the nave was fixed during the Holy Week and the "heavenly axis" of the choir was fixed on the Easter Sunday. This "bend" in the axis was first studied in Austrian church buildings, and I do not know a proper English translation up to now
