English: No. 5 Bank Buildings, Birkenhead, opened as the Bank of Liverpool in 1898 and added Martins Bank in 1918. From 1928 to 1969 it was Martins Bank, then became a branch of Barclays. It closed in 1970 and as of 2018 is a hair salon.
