242 Fifth Avenue between West 27th and 28th Streets in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1885, and designed by George Harding in Queen Anne style. The building was originally a dwelling, and was converted to commercial use, with a new cast-iron facade, in 1885. It is located within the Madison Square North Historic District.
