Deutsch: Das 2. Posensche Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr. 56 der Preußischen Armee wurde mit Stiftungstag vom 25. März 1899 gegründet. Das Regiment hatte seine Garnison in Lissa in Westpreußen. In der Friedensgliederung bis 1914 gehörte das Regiment zur 10. Feldartillerie-Brigade (Sitz in Posen), diese zur 10. Infanterie-Division, und diese zum V. Armee-Korps.
