Several sources on the web mention this small mosque as the first built by SInan. From one I quote, condensed and translated: It is the first known historical building of Mimar Sinan in Istanbul. However, it has lost most of its classical architectural features. I found the date of 1532-3 as being stated on its foundation inscriptio above the gate.
