Arch of Titus

The Arch of Titus is a triumphal arch with a single arched opening, located on the Summa Sacra Via to the west of the Roman Forum in Rome. It was constructed shortly after the death of the emperor Titus (born AD 41, emperor 79-81).

Deutsch:   Der Titusbogen ist ein Triumphbogen mit einer einzigen Öffnung gewölbt, auf der Summa Sacra Via im Westen des Forum Romanum in Rom. Es war kurz nach dem Tod des Kaisers Titus (geboren AD 41, Kaiser 79-81) gebaut.
