The home alternate 1 was used in preseason matches against LA Galaxy (15 July 2017), Real Madrid CF (23 July 2017), and UC Sampdoria (2 August 2017), Premier League matches against Swansea City FC (19 August 2017), Huddersfield Town FC (21 October 2017), West Bromwich Albion FC (17 December 2017), Everton FC (1 January 2018), and Manchester City FC (7 April 2018), as well as EFL Cup match against Swansea City FC (24 October 2017) and FA Cup matches against Yeovil Town FC (26 January 2018) and Huddersfield Town FC (17 February 2018).
The home alternate 2 was used in UEFA Super Cup match against Real Madrid CF (8 August 2017) and UEFA Champions League matches against FC Basel (12 September 2017), SL Benfica (31 October 2017), PFC CSKA Moscow (5 December 2017), and Sevilla FC (13 March 2018), as well as Premier League matches against Watford FC (28 November 2017), Leicester City FC (23 December 2017), and Newcastle United FC (11 February 2018).
The default home kit was used in all matches not stated in this page.

The default away kit was used in preseason match against Real Salt Lake (17 July 2017), Premier League matches against Stoke City FC (9 September 2017) and Arsenal FC (3 December 2017), and UEFA Champions League match against SL Benfica (18 October 2017).

Notably, United did not lose a single game donning this shirt (W4, D2).

The default third kit was used in preseason match against FC Barcelona (26 July 2017), Premier League matches against Liverpool FC (14 October 2017), Crystal Palace FC (5 March 2018), and AFC Bournemouth (18 April 2018) as well as UEFA Champions League matches against PFC CSKA Moscow (27 September 2017) and FC Basel (22 November 2017).
The third alternate was used in preseason match against Vålerenga Fotball (30 July 2017), EFL Cup match against Bristol City FC (20 December 2017), and Premier League matches against Burnley FC (20 January 2018) and West Ham United FC (10 May 2018).
