Nederlands: Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 29 uit 1948.
In Den Haag worden de nationale zwemkampioenschappen gehouden. Bij de heren wint Kees Hoving de 100 mtr. borstcrawl; Hannie Termeulen idem bij de dames. Nel van Vliet wint de 200 mtr. schoolslag dames; Kiki Heck en Coby Floor selecteren zich voor de Olympische Spelen te Londen voor het schoonspringen.

In The Hague the national swimming championships are held. Kees Hoving wins the men's 100 metre freestyle, Hannie Termeulen wins the women's event. Nel van Vliet wins the women's 200 metre breaststroke. Divers Kiki Heck and Coby Floor qualify for the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.
