Description
English: Movie of a “tumbler” mutant: Motion of the “tumbler” strain (CR33) observed by fluorescence microscopy. This observation is performed at high magnification (×100, image width 5 µm) and high video rate (50 fps). The orientation of the bacterium in the focal plane is deduced by computing the major axis of the ellipse that best fits the image of the bacterium.
