中国科学家最新在宁夏同心地区一处中新世早期地层中发现近无角犀新属种化石，命名为“同心近无角犀”，根据近无角犀化石在中国西北首次发现，科学家研究推测当地1700万年前仍然存在温暖湿润的环境。 由中国科学院古脊椎动物与古人类研究所邓涛研究团队完成的这项重要古生物化石发现及研究成果论文，近日在国际学术期刊《PeerJ》发表，新发现不仅增加了近无角犀的物种多样性，也扩大了该属的地理分布范围。 2月28日下午，论文第一作者、中国科学院大学博士后孙丹辉在北京接受中新社记者专访，对同心近无角犀化石发现及研究成果进行科普解读。（孙自法） |
