I started this category mainly because I'm interested in historic buildings, and real photo postcards mainly focus on streetscapes and buildings. I've settled into a naming convention that uses the address of the building in the format of STREET, CITY, POSTAL ABBREVIATION - POSTMARK DATE. For example, 123 Main Street, Anytown, ST - Jan. 2, 1912. I leave off the street portion if I don't know it.
