Improvements to ImageStack

Our friend User:Bawolff has made improvements to the ImageStack gadget. Please deploy as of this revision on MDwiki. This adds a slider widget that makes the imagestack template usable on mobile. Once this is done you can update Template:Imagestack from this revision on MDwiki. Harej (talk) 03:26, 1 April 2024 (UTC)

@Harej: If I understand correctly, this would effectively revert Special:Diff/863646220 (cc @MusikAnimal); do you know if that’s okay (e.g. if the other changes on MDwiki make it no longer needed)? (I haven’t looked much into it yet.) Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 21:18, 2 April 2024 (UTC)

The suggested update selects .ImageStackUnits figure.mw-halign-center so it would work with the current HTML. I've no idea what the other changes do but if the gadget + template combination works fine on MDwiki, it probably will here too. ImageStack was broken here on Commons for nearly a year, so I'm sure a little experimentation with this new version won't cause too much of an uproar :) — MusikAnimal ^talk 00:10, 3 April 2024 (UTC)

Just FYI - the other changes are: add a slider, slow down the speed when using a mouse scroll wheel, make decoding sync to reduce flickering on initial scroll through. Bawolff (talk) 21:26, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
