Identification[edit]

Hi Barcex, I have been in touch with a South american zoologist. He said to me : « it is not a Chilla fox (Pseudalopex or Lycalopex griseus) and is not an Island fox (Urocyon cinereoargenteus). My best bet is that it is a Pampas fox (Lycalopex gymnocercus) ». To be confirmed buy a specialist of thoses foxes, but I think that we can rely on this advice. Accordingly, I propose you to rename this file and the two other photos, and to categorise the three of them in Category:Pseudalopex gymnocercus. --Salix (talk) 12:57, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
