Staircase[edit]

There is clearly a staircase in this photo, yet twice now Category:Staircases in the United States has been removed. I do not understand why that is done. Reverting again. SergeWoodzing (talk) 13:32, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This clearly does not belong in the category staircases. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 19:38, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Your opinion on that is clear. But I see no reason for that opinion, nor do you give one. The removal of categories should be based on some motivation other than unmotivated personal opinion, I think. There is clearly a staircase in the photo and that staircase was in the United States. The other photos in the category also have a number of staircases in them, of various kinds. SergeWoodzing (talk) 13:13, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please try to understand COM:CAT, especially the section COM:OVERCAT. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 22:03, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reinstated categories[edit]

Reinstated a number of categories that seem to have been removed only out of personal spite. Refer to this discussion. SergeWoodzing (talk) 14:33, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Coming to this image from the bistro, I feel a large overcat problem here. More than half of the cats are irrelevant to the documentary value of the image. --Havang(nl) (talk) 20:02, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Coincidence ("bistro"), is it? That you and Kuiper both are Dutch? Mm hm. Okee. SergeWoodzing (talk) 21:28, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I often disagree with Peter, but not here. --Havang(nl) (talk) 11:06, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
