Public domain?[edit]

It is highly doubtful that the image itself is actually in the public domain, unless the creator has specifically released it as such. It is a logo, and it does not simply consist of "geometric shapes". By that definition, lots of modern logos would be uncopyrightable. Not only does the logo specify specific colors, (that's not just #FFFF00 yellow), but it uses a specific font, positioned in a specific way. This is very much copyrightable. The rationale, at least, needs to be changed. Jsharpminor (talk) 19:44, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jsharpminor, the PD-Textlogo means “simple shape or text. A positioning of 2 letters is very much uncopyrightable! (I also don't really understand what you want zo say about the color in relation to the copyright?). PS: But if you have more serious arguments we could set {{MIT}} here.
