There is a higher resolution version of the Declaration that used to be found on the archives.org site. The difference between them is pretty stark -- 7846 x 9312 vs 3923 x 4656. It still exists on the archive.org, and the image links here are also still live: https://web.archive.org/web/20051013072154/http://www.archives.gov/national-archives-experience/charters/charters_downloads.html

It looks like the image here was taken from "Stone Engraving Image". It might be worthwhile to replace this images with that one. We may also want to update other "Charters of Freedom" documents likewise.
