Date Discrepancy

According to the Coast Guard Medals and Awards Manual (COMDTINST M1650.25E; accessed Aug. 16, 2018) the Basswood wasn't in Vietnam in 1968 or on 31 December 1967. The dates for which she was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal are:

• 14 Oct 67 - 27 Nov 67
• 16 Oct 71 - 10 Dec 71
• 15 Mar 62 [sic] - 05 May 72
