Dacia? Moesia?[edit]

I noticed two issues with this map, in the context of 69 AD:

  • The Romans didn't penetrate successfully into Dacia till 101-102 AD: See Trajan's Dacian Wars
  • Moesia was divided into Moesia Superior and Moesia Inferior in 86 AD by Domitian

Also, the province of Arabia did not exist during this time, and Mauretania Tingitana did not extend that far down the Atlantic coast - ever.--Tataryn77 (talk) 02:25, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for noticing the flaws in the map. I have now removed Arabia from the map, adjusted the borders of Mauretania Tingitana and made Moesia into one province. Evil berry (talk) 09:48, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Britain?[edit]

The roman conquest of Britain wasn't so advanced! This map shows where the roman army arrived approximately in 80, with the general Agricola.--Innocenti Erleor (talk) 21:19, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rhine and Danube[edit]

By 69 the border against the Germans was still along the Rhine and Danube. The Agri Decumates up to the Limes was only conquered by Domitian in 83 AD. I am afraid many maps depicting post-Augustan Roman Empire got that detail wrong. --Proofreader (talk) 14:26, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Source[edit]

Several editors have pointed to factual inaccuracies on this map. Do we have a reliable source by any chance? (poke @Evil berry @Fulvio314 as you contributed in the past) A455bcd9 (talk) 08:33, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No, sorry. Just did a job requested by the graphic lab. Fulvio 314 10:59, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
