This is not Culiseta annulata, but Aedes / Ochlerotatus caspius: On the hind tarsus, each pale rings embraces two tasomers (the apex of one and the base of the following), the tarsomer V of the hind leg is entirely pale, the wings have pale and dark scales that are evenly mixed (not dark shady spots as in Cs. annulata), the Scutum is light brown with two light lines.
