- I would like to upload a version with a larger resolution, in which case it would be great to make it a png. More precisely, I want to combine them. Fazoffic (talk) 09:15, 21 November 2023 (UTC)

- I'm curious whether you actually understand how Commons works or not? We cannot upload a png file by overwriting a gif file, and vice versa Fazoffic (talk) 11:57, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
- Indeed - I’m not saying to overwrite the file. Just upload a new file. why do you want to rename the file? You do realise renaming a .png to a .gif would be an absolutely terrible idea, right?
