Jim - Beautiful photos. Nice eye.
This building is a part of Kings County Hospital.
It is affiliated with Downstate, staffed by Downstate, but not truly part of it.
Downstate Hospital is on the other side of Clarkson Avenue.

- Thank you, Joe. On my way home from taking pictures of en:Roxbury, Queens and en:Kings Plaza I stopped to snap the en:Winthrop Street (IRT Nostrand Avenue Line) station and couldn't help be surprized at how pretty the hospital looked in the fading sunlight. Always must look out for targets of opportunity. Alas, luck was with me more than knowledge, and I appreciate the correction. I've already moved the picture to the correct hospital article in Wikipedia but must submit an official request to get the picture's name changed which, last time, took weeks. Please continue checking for errors, both in my picture names and descriptions, and in the Wikipedia articles that use them. Jim.henderson (talk) 05:01, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
