Hi! Here some hints for terms in correct German:
- Karte vom bekanntem Gor -> Karte des bekannten Gors [the 's' is coming because it's Genitive]
- Port Kar -> Hafen Kar [unless it's the fix name of a city, if it's a harbour it goes with "Hafen"]
- ozean -> Ozean
- Hrimgar-berge -> Hrimgarberge
- Sardar-berge -> Sardarberge
- Vosk-strom -> Vosk [rivers on German maps are never written with 'Strom']
- äquator -> Äquator
- Ta-Thassa-berge -> Ta-Thassa-Berge
- Ebene von den Wagenvölkern -> Ebene der Wagenvölker
- Thentis-b. -> Thentis-B.
- Voltai-berge -> Voltaiberge
- Tahari-wüste -> Tahariwüste
- Ödländer (ebene) -> Ödlande (Ebene)

Thanks for the comments, but producing the map SVG file is a somewhat tedious process for me, so I regard changes which just affect capitalization to be of somewhat low priority (I'm not sure I could fit a capital "Ä" where the "ä" of "äquator" currently is without significantly changing the font, anyway). Also, a few of your suggested changes go against the "old" German map (see http://www.fantasy-atlas.org/karten/norman1.html , http://www.fantasy-atlas.org/karten/norman2.html , or image map-whole.jpg at http://btp.gorean101.com/maps.htm etc.), which has "HRIMGAR-BERGE" with a hyphen, "Port Kar", "Ödländer", and "Ebene von Turia" (I collapsed "Ebene von Turia" and "Das Land der Wagenvölker" into "Ebene von den Wagenvölkern"). I admit, however, that I was trying to avoid using the definite article as much as possible, and this may have led me to use somewhat unnatural constructions...
