Korean ergot?[edit]

In this picture's current version, one of the ears has a green rice seed and some of the supposedly green leaves are yellow. Are these mistakes? --Abdull (talk) 20:11, 19 November 2008 (UTC) /Better? /Lokal_Profil 21:51, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This picture is wrong[edit]

Moved from Image talk:North Korea coa.png.

The original inscription of the red ribbon is "조선민주의인민공화국", but the inscription of this picture is "조선민주의인민공화국". All of Wikipedias are using this picture because this is a common one. So I think that this must be modified. I already wrote the same one at the GIF one. --paisen

Change of the coat of arms of DPRK in 1992[edit]

After Kim Il Sung's death in 1992, the Supreme People's Assembly of DPRK amended the 1972 constitution and added "a grand hydroelectric power station under Mt. Paektu, the sacred mountain of the revolution" in Article 163. This could be found in current Constitution of North Korea.

The COA after 1992 can be seen here, from Naenara (the official web port of the DPRK), showing Mountain Baekdu(Paektu) instead of several ordinary mountains.

In my opinion therefore the COA could be updated and keep the previous file into another file that shows the emblem before 1992.
